turned up at shoreham in the face of a mass exodus to worthing, i
decided against it which in hind sight was probably the wrong thing to
do.
The
wind was switching offshore and a bit fluky but the waves looked really
good. Had a half hour on a 6.0 underpowered but had a few rides then
the wind came through ahead of a squall and i was maxed. Came in, as i
got changed the wind stablised but there was no way i was getting back
into my wet wetsuit.
Really clean long sets coming through
which is rare for shoreham. I hope the big seas this winter have
changed the sea bed a bit. I did notice a beach ball sized rock had
been moved from the groine to about 5 meters down the beach.
The cross-off wind was even blowing plumes of white water off the top, very good for the ham, shame the wind was so iffy.
